Land of Ook
Fye Akamai
Age: 35 cycles Species: Ook Height: 5.5 feet Likes/Dislikes: She likes morning jogs, working out, fencing, Ruk’t riding, juggling with sharp objects (don’t get too close), the colour of the sky meeting the sea at dawn. She dislikes slowpokes, being forced to wait, paperwork, winter, sleeping in. Location: Land of Ook, settlement along the western coast, south of the Citadel Fye is the oldest of the twin sisters of the Akamai clan, and by oldest, she means that she hatched five minutes before her sister Mye. Fye is the most active of the two, as she will be the first to run around the settlement to see to everything at the earliest hours of the morning, making sure that the cogs of her clan are turning nicely. She has a lot of energy to spare, and she uses that energy to put her newest clanmates in shape, either by having them work or training them. She is excellent with a blade and a bow, but fearsome with knives and words. She enjoys a good boat ride, playing with her Ruk’ts, and laying in her special hammock by the shore |
Mye Akamai
Age: 35 cycles Species: Ook Height: 5.5 feet Likes/Dislikes: She likes cooking, baking, sleeping, reading, the smell of the sea, kilekes. She dislikes having to run around, people who speak too fast, rainy weather, talking to people (oh no socialization), when she runs out of books to read. Location: Land of Ook, settlement along the western coast, south of the Citadel Mye is the youngest of the twin sisters of the Akamai clan; younger by five minutes at least. She is very different from her older sister, in that she is very laid back, and would rather sit in her hometree with a good book than training with weapons or running around. While she may not be the one to wake up at dawn, she is a warm mother who will always have time to listen to your worries, and will happily share a cup of tea with cookies with anyone who wants to join. She is slower than her older sister, yes, but that offers a good balance in the settlement and the way things are being handled. While Fye will have a more direct approach and will take care of immediate affairs within the clan, Mye will happily take care of the paperwork and act as a teacher to the young members of the clan. She deals with all the internal and external affairs of the clan, but rarely will she go meet with other Chieftains to discuss things; she leaves the social part to Fye. Mye loves to read with a warm cup of tea, loves kilekes (she has four) and cuddling with them, and she enjoys the sea breeze and its smell. |
Forests of Lotlein
Leily Miranaissi
Age: 50 cycles Species: Lotlar Height: 4.5 feet Likes/Dislikes: She likes order, peace, Ryoogas, tea and tea parties, gardening. She dislikes chaos, loud noises, furry insects, says she’s allergic to kilekes. Location: Lotlein, settlement north-west of the Palace of Coral Leily, or Mother Leily as her flock often calls her, is a short distinguished lady with refined tastes in everything. She enjoys rare tea that she gets from around the world, flowers that she grows in her garden, and likes to participate in classy Ryooga contests with her Ryooga Mita. She has a heart of gold and cares for all the children she takes under her wing, but she also has a fist of steel and does not go easy on those who cause any sort of trouble in her hometree. While she isn’t harsh with the children and acts more like a heart-warming little mother than a strict ruler, she is still the leader of the flock and thus have an air of leadership to her that nobody misses. |
Faelar Miranaissi
Age: 60 cycles Species: Lotlar Height: 5.8 feet Likes/Dislikes: He likes children, kilekes, his mate (a lot), watching the stars, gardening. He dislikes slugs (and anything slimy), kilekemanis (especially when they get a bit too close to the hometree), unplanned things, hide and seek games with the kids. Location: Lotlein, settlement north-west of the Palace of Coral Faelar is the guardian of his flock, and takes his role very seriously. Or at least he likes to think he does. While he is tall for a Lotlar, Faelar is soft of heart and easily gets worried and scared when something doesn’t go according to plan or something happens to one of his clanmates, however that does make him very responsible as he will do everything in his power to make things go right. He has an immense level of patience, and will happily sit with the youngest or the most hyperactive children to play with them - even if they start climbing all over him. Which, with his tallness, happens more often than one would think. Faelar enjoys taking tea with his mate, participating in farm work around the hometree, and sitting calmly in the canopy of his home to watch the sky. |
Ssarh'isse Desert
Jazo Sileirei
Age: 80 cycles
Species: Ssarh
Height: 6 feet
Likes/Dislikes: He likes a well organized hoard, the smell of old books, sitting at dawn cleaning all of his gear, the colour of the sky at sunset, the feeling of snow under his feet. He dislikes troublemakers, goofy kids, not a fan of teenagers (especially angsty ones), sandstorms, being asked about his shady business.
Location: Ssarh’isse, settlement at the foot of the eastern mountains of Zorianos Bassin, edge of desert
Jazo was a trader and a traveler in his youth, but something happened that made him separate from his former clan to wander the world on his own. He built his clan from nothing, by taking in lost ones who had no one else in life and swearing to show them how to survive life in the endless dunes of Ssarh’isse. While he is filled with good intentions, he is strict and tends to appear heartless to those who do not know him. Though he will push those who want to be better until they achieve their goal, on the other side he is warm to those he cares for and wishes for nothing but their wellbeing. A silent man, Jazo enjoys to perch at the top of his hometree at night to look at the sky, likes to collect ancient books even if he’ll never read them (he likes the way they smell and look), and enjoys cooking, which he is very good at.
