Ikrouks find their uniqueness not only in their colouring, but also in the differences between their traits. Traits are unique elements on their body that differ greatly from species to species. They can attest to someone's personality, their way of life, or even their clan role or their title. Some traits are usually inherited from parents, but an Ikrouk may grow new traits through Magic Runes, though it is usually viewed as reserved for the higher parts of the social hierarchy.

- These crests are reserved for higher tiered members of clans and temples. To be elligible for acquiring this crest, your Ikrouk must be: a High Mother/High Father, a Baroness/Baron, a Black Hunter, a Teacher or a Chieftain.
- This crest can go down the spine to reach the tail.
- The main feathers can have different shapes, but must always point to the heavens and appear bigger than Sacred Crest.

Tails
Standard Tail
An Ikrouk's center of balance, the most useful limb they have.

- The standard tail is of average length; depending on the subspecies, it can be as long as the steering tail or slightly longer. Ask a mod to be sure!
- These tails must keep a large width, as they are made of large bones and muscles and contain an Ikrouk's reproductive organs. This is applicable to all the tails.
Long Tail
Prehensile like a monkey's tail, these can be used to grab on to branches much easier than a shorter tail.

- This tail can be combined with the Celestial Crest to have a streak of large feathers along the entire spine and tail.
- To be elligible for acquiring this rare tail, your Ikrouk must grow into a leader, and must be a Baroness/Baron or a Chieftain.
- The feathers can be longer or shorter than shown, and there can be more feathers along the sides than shown.
